Balsamic Beef Shreds
Tender, savory beef with a cozy balsamic finish.
Ingredients
- 2 lb chuck roast
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, smashed
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- Salt and pepper
Prep steps
- Sear roast until browned on both sides.
- Add onion, garlic, broth, balsamic, and tomato paste.
- Cover and simmer 2-3 hours until shreddable.
- Shred and return to the pan juices.
Storage notes
Store with cooking liquid for moisture. Freeze in 1-2 cup portions.
